Job Description
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your role is essential in ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and providing personalized assistance to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including payment transactions and room assignments.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing accurate information about the resort’s facilities and services.
- Address guest concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate department if needed.
- Manage phone calls, reservations, and general correspondence.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, special packages, and promotions.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and ensure a smooth experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or Front Office Associate in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera) is preferred.
- A professional appearance and a welcoming attitude.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
