Job Description
As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the procurement activities of the resort. You will ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective purchasing processes, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and ensuring quality control of all incoming goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise daily purchasing operations.
- Source, negotiate, and secure goods and services at optimal costs and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation of all purchases.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate with departments to identify procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, and financial regulations.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to inform procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role in hotel procurement or purchasing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.
- Good understanding of procurement processes and quality control procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic hospitality environment.
