Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will support the procurement process to ensure that our hotel operations run smoothly and cost-effectively. The Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain productive supplier relationships
• Process purchase orders, track shipments, and verify delivery against quality and quantity requirements
• Collaborate with various departments (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) to identify and fulfill purchasing needs
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstock
• Maintain accurate procurement records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within hospitality or a similar industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications
• Knowledge of local suppliers and market trends is an advantage
• Strong team-player attitude, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
