About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Outlet Chef specializing in Asian cuisine to lead and inspire the culinary team at our specialty restaurant. Your creativity, expertise, and dedication to authentic flavors will shape a distinctive dining experience for our guests. You will oversee menu development, ensure consistent quality, maintain impeccable hygiene standards, and mentor junior kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Asian culinary traditions, eager to innovate, and committed to delivering exceptional gastronomic experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative menus highlighting diverse Asian flavors, techniques, and presentations
- Oversee food preparation and production to maintain quality, taste, and consistency
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Manage food inventory, cost controls, and supplier relationships effectively
- Train, guide, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement
- Stay abreast of culinary trends to enhance menu offerings and guest satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an Asian Cuisine Chef (preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant)
- Deep knowledge of Asian culinary traditions, ingredients, and cooking methods
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English; additional languages are a plus
