BayView Restaurant is seeking a skilled and passionate Juice Maker to join our team. The Juice Maker will play a key role in delivering fresh and delicious juice beverages, using high-quality ingredients to provide our guests with refreshing experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of fruits and vegetables, a creative flair for unique juice blends, and a commitment to health-conscious options.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of fresh juices and smoothies according to BayView’s menu and guest preferences.
- Ensure the highest quality of ingredients are used, handling them with care to maintain freshness and nutritional value.
- Develop new juice recipes and flavor combinations, contributing creative input to enhance the menu.
- Operate and maintain juicing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Keep the juice bar and work area clean, organized, and stocked with fresh ingredients at all times.
- Monitor inventory of fruits, vegetables, and other supplies, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about ingredients, health benefits, and special requests.
- Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth, coordinated service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a juice maker, barista, or similar role in a restaurant or café setting.
- In-depth knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and health-conscious juice combinations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage time during busy hours.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks.
- A certification in food handling or health safety is preferred but not required.
