As a General Cashier cum Paymaster and Accounts Receivable, you will oversee essential financial functions, from secure cash handling and payroll processing to managing accounts receivable. This multi-faceted role involves handling daily cash transactions, processing payroll accurately, and ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Your expertise will support the financial integrity of our operations and contribute to maintaining positive client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily cash transactions, including collections, disbursements, and reconciliations.
- Ensure secure cash handling, accurate record-keeping, and timely cash deposits.
- Process payroll efficiently, including wage calculations, deductions, and distribution of pay stubs.
- Administer employee benefits and maintain confidentiality in payroll records.
- Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Address client inquiries, manage credit control, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate financial reports on cash, payroll, and receivables for management review.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cashiering, payroll, or accounts receivable, ideally in hospitality.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and financial acumen.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
