We’re seeking an engaging Front Desk Agent who will deliver seamless arrivals, personalized service, and flawless departures—all while upholding Gewan’s signature standards.
Job Description
The Front Desk Agent handles check-ins/outs, room assignments, billing, and guest enquiries with warmth and efficiency. You will collaborate with all departments to anticipate needs, resolve issues quickly, and create memorable experiences from the moment guests step through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, complete check-in/out procedures, and process payments accurately.
- Provide information on hotel facilities, promotions, and local attractions; upsell rooms and services when relevant.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, and billing instructions in the PMS.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly—escalating when necessary—to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B to fulfil special requests and VIP amenities.
- Balance cash, post charges, and prepare shift handover reports.
- Adhere to Gewan grooming, security, and data-privacy standards at all times.
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience as Front Desk/Reception agent in an upscale or luxury hotel.
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera preferred) and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and genuine passion for hospitality.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
