Position Overview:
As an F&B Captain at Royal M Al Aqah, you will lead and support a dedicated service team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Working within our upscale, multi-cuisine culinary environment, you will ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations, uphold the highest service standards, and create memorable moments for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the waitstaff, ensuring courteous, professional, and timely service.
- Quality Control: Maintain impeccable service quality by ensuring food presentation, taste, and consistency meet our 5-star standards.
- Guest Engagement: Welcome guests warmly, respond to inquiries, address concerns, and anticipate their needs to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient order flow, accurately handle special requests, and coordinate event or group dining arrangements.
- Training & Development: Mentor new team members, deliver on-the-job training, and promote adherence to company policies and service standards.
- Inventory & Supplies: Assist in managing service-related stock levels, including linens, tableware, and beverages, and communicate any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean, organized dining environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of international cuisines, beverages, and fine dining etiquette.
- Attributes: Professional demeanor, guest-centric mindset, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
