You’ll handle late arrivals/departures, resolve issues in the moment, coordinate emergencies, and ensure night-audit integrity when on overnight duty. Additionally, you will ensure seamless service for Russian-speaking guests, providing on-the-spot translation and cross-department coordination when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Manager-on-Duty; greet VIPs, oversee lobby flow, and manage service recovery with timely, documented follow-up.
- Conduct property rounds of public areas/back-of-house; action cleanliness, maintenance, and safety observations.
- Coordinate cross-department responses to guest requests, incidents, and medical/security matters per hotel SOPs.
- Support Night Audit: verify postings, balance revenue, review rate/room status, and prepare shift handover.
- Ensure accurate PMS data (profiles, routing, payment methods) and protect cash-handling & data-privacy standards.
- Brief morning leadership on overnight events, guest feedback, and outstanding work orders; track closure.
- Coach night/late-shift colleagues on service standards, upselling, and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ supervisory experience in a 4/5-star hotel (Front Office/Night Audit/Duty Management).
- Proficiency with Opera PMS and solid understanding of hotel revenue controls and cash handling.
- Strong decision-making under pressure; knowledgeable in emergency & safety protocols.
- Impeccable grooming, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Russian and English (spoken & written) is mandatory; additional languages are an advantage.
- Flexibility for rotating shifts, including overnights, weekends, and public holidays.
