Role Overview:
The Cost Controller cum Income Auditor will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial transactions, ensuring cost efficiency, and supporting revenue accuracy. This role involves close collaboration with the kitchen, service, and purchasing teams to optimize stock levels, verify income records, and contribute to the overall profitability of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs by analyzing usage, wastage, and variances
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile inventory records, and ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing supplies
- Review sales reports, verify daily revenue against POS records, and identify discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain cost-effective supplier relationships and negotiate favorable pricing
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost and income audit reports for management review
- Recommend process improvements to enhance cost control, income verification, and overall financial efficiency
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a finance or accounting role within the hospitality or F&B sector is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in common accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
