Job Description

As a Commis I – Cold Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality cold dishes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of presentation and taste. You will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and presenting cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, and other cold kitchen items, with consistency and precision.
• Follow recipes and plating standards as instructed by senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cold kitchen area.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in proper stock rotation.
• Support the kitchen team during service to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commis in a cold kitchen, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining environment.
• Strong understanding of cold kitchen preparation techniques and food safety.
• A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
