To elevate personalized dining and in-suite service across our restaurants, lounges, and private villas, we are hiring a dedicated Butler who will sit within the Food & Beverage department and curate exceptional, tailor-made experiences for our most discerning guests.
Job Description
Reporting to the F&B leadership team, the Butler acts as a private dining concierge: arranging bespoke meals, coordinating in-room amenities, and anticipating every culinary desire from arrival to departure. You will be the single point of contact for VIP guests, seamlessly liaising with kitchens, bars, housekeeping, and front office to deliver flawless, end-to-end service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome VIP and long-stay guests, conduct in-suite orientation, and note personal dining preferences.
- Arrange and serve private breakfasts, lunches, dinners, canapés, and beverage pairings.
- Coordinate with culinary, pastry, and bar teams on bespoke menus, dietary needs, and special celebrations.
- Manage pantry stock, glassware, and in-room dining equipment; ensure impeccable presentation at all times.
- Handle restaurant, spa, and activity reservations, acting as a liaison for complete guest itineraries.
- Maintain detailed guest profiles to guarantee personalised service on future visits.
- Uphold Gewan grooming, hygiene, and safety standards, including discreet handling of guest belongings.
- Support F&B events and promotions as a brand ambassador when required.
Requirements
- 2 + years’ experience as Butler, Private Dining Supervisor, or F&B Captain in a luxury hotel, resort, or private estate.
- Exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and mixology, with polished service etiquette.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Discreet, intuitive, and genuinely passionate about personalised hospitality.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
