Role Overview
Own and grow the Leisure/FIT & Wholesale segment for Royal M Abu Dhabi—building high-producing partnerships with DMCs, tour operators, OTAs, and retail agencies—while supporting Corporate/MICE/Government as assigned. You will secure contracts, optimize allotments and rates with Revenue, and deliver room-night, revenue, and market-share targets
Key Responsibilities
- Leisure Contracting & Production: Contract FIT/wholesale partners (DMCs, tour operators, OTAs); manage allotments/release periods, stop-sell, and tactical offers with Revenue.
- Market Development: Prospect and convert new leisure accounts; conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and fam trips—especially for the Russian-speaking market.
- Trade Activation: Represent the hotel at leisure trade shows/roadshows; negotiate marketing placements, co-ops, and rate promotions.
- Pricing & Parity: Coordinate LNR/dynamic structures where applicable; ensure accurate rate loading and audits (CRS/GDS/PMS/Channel Manager) and strict parity.
- Performance Management: Deliver weekly pipeline and monthly pace/production reports; run QBRs with key partners and implement recovery actions if off-track.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with Reservations on blocks/rooming lists and with Front Office for VIP handling; partner with Marketing on B2B campaigns and content.
- Relationship & Reputation: Host familiarisation visits; handle escalations/service recovery for key accounts to protect share and satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ hotel sales experience (4/5-star), with strong leisure/FIT/wholesale background in the Abu Dhabi/UAE market.
- Proven success driving production from DMCs, tour operators, and OTAs; confident negotiator and presenter.
- Systems: CRM (Delphi/Opera S&C), Opera PMS, GDS/CRS, Channel Manager; solid MS Excel/PowerPoint.
- Fluency in Russian and English (spoken & written) is mandatory.
- Results-driven, organised, and comfortable with field sales, KPIs, and travel for client events.
- UAE driving licence preferred.
