Role Overview

Lead the reservations function for Gewan properties in the UAE—maximizing conversion, optimizing inventory and rates with Revenue, and ensuring a seamless booking journey across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day reservations operations (phone, email, website, OTAs, GDS).
  • Set SOPs for enquiry handling, response times, upselling, and accuracy.
  • Work with Revenue on rate strategy, room controls, cut-offs, and parity.
  • Manage group blocks, allotments, and billing instructions; issue rooming lists.
  • Audit rate loading, corporate/LNR codes, and promotional offers in CRS/PMS/Channel Manager.
  • Track pickup, pace, no-shows/cancellations; produce forecasts and action plans.
  • Coach, schedule, and QA reservations agents; run call-quality reviews and training.
  • Liaise with Sales, Front Office, and Finance to ensure clean handovers and data integrity.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ reservations leadership in upscale/luxury hotels.
  • Strong command of Opera PMS/ORS (or similar), channel manager, and OTA extranets.
  • Proven conversion/upselling track record and solid forecasting skills.
  • Detail-driven, organised, and calm under pressure.
  • Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Advanced Excel; confident communicator with stakeholders.
