We’re seeking an upbeat Guest Service Agent to greet every arrival with a warm smile, handle check-in/out flawlessly, and become the go-to resource for in-house guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute fast, accurate check-ins/outs, room assignments, and payment processing.
- Provide clear information on hotel facilities, transport links, and Dubai attractions; upsell rooms and services where appropriate.
- Respond to guest enquiries and resolve complaints promptly, coordinating with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B to ensure requests are fulfilled.
- Maintain precise guest profiles, preferences, and billing instructions in the PMS.
- Balance cash, post charges, and prepare detailed shift handovers.
- Uphold MD Hotel grooming, security, and data-privacy standards at all times.
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ front-desk experience in an upscale or business hotel.
- Excellent command of English; other languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera preferred) and MS Office.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
