Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Reservations Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential guests, handling inquiries and bookings promptly and professionally. You will manage reservations across multiple channels, collaborate with other departments to optimize occupancy, and ensure an outstanding guest experience from the very start of their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
- Accurately process and confirm room bookings, updates, and cancellations
- Provide clear information on room types, rates, promotions, and special packages
- Work closely with the front office and sales teams to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Maintain organized records of all booking transactions and guest profiles
- Resolve any reservation-related concerns or issues in a courteous, efficient manner
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitality reservations or front office roles is preferred
- Proficiency in common hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
